“ This has become a fast favorite spot for vegan food in NJ. There isn't a single dessert that I've tried so far that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed. Most recently, I tried the ham sub with the works and it was easily the best vegan sub I've ever had. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. I can't say enough good things about this cute little spot! ”
“ First time, desserts look amazing, wish I had the time to try them all. Cashier was super polite she recommended a bacon egg and cheese and a sausage egg and cheese and oooo sweet baby Jesus,,, the best Vegan breakfast sandwiches I’ve every had hands down ”

“ I stopped in for lunch, and the employees working were super friendly and helpful! I got the banana pudding cheesecake, which was super delicious — I highly recommend. I also got the K-Mack smash burger, which was huge and messy, but delicious. The worker who brought it out made sure I had plenty of napkins, which I really appreciate. ”
“ Hungry, I look for a Vegan meal to order through UberEats. I really like subs! I'm glad about finding another Vegan sub spot. The Roast Beef sandwich travels well (about fifty minutes) fresh from the eatery though the second half tastes good though not as good as when from a fresh wrap from the eatery with the juices dripping. The first half fresh reminds me of my first time having a sub from an eatery in elementary school (my pre-Vegan days) from the super long subs everyone has to/ share. The sub is huge. The bread is consistent so the juices don't soggy the bread. I feel like vinegar on the side is necessary if holding the second half for later (beyond thirty minutes after re-wrapping). The Hot Cocoa (w/ soy milk) is good, smooth and silky, with a sweetness just right. I like having a sub and hot cocoa spot. ”
“ The beginning and end of VEGAN NATION is here!!! I have been coming here religiously every single weekend for about almost 2 years. The staff is so hard working and pleasant. This includes but is not limited to the owner herself & her husband who work so hard to make things amazing every day. The quality here never lacks, the wait times are reasonable giving the amount of business that they get - which is a lot!! They have a wonderful menu with ample variety for all. Vegans / non vegans are heavily encouraged to visit this place & get wowed by their great food just like every person I have introduced to this location. The ambiance is gorgeous & community oriented; with several seating options including bar stools, large tables, & more intimate smaller tables. They have an online order option where you can pre order or even get their food delivered. (Granted that the distance is feasible delivery) Their pop up menus are extremely amazing because they never dissapoint & are always changing it up. Make sure you give them a try!! You will be hooked! Thank you guys so much for the continuous service, & amazing food. You are amazing!! ”
“ So excited to have this restaurant down the street from my home! It is a beautiful establishment, the staff was super friendly. A lot of the young adults that work there I knew from working at West Orange High School. So nice to see a bunch of friendly faces I know. Now to the food I ordered a hot pastrami sandwich, banana pudding cake and the mango ice tea. The food is absolutely AMAZING, let me say it again AMAZING. So happy to have this black owned vegan business in my community. I will continue to support and I will make sure I pass the word to all of my fellow vegans!!! I will be back next week thank you so much for the food and the great customer service !!! ”
“ So I tried this place for a Saturday lunch with some friends. This was my first time hearing about this spot, even though it’s only about 10 minutes away. I was not disappointed at all. First it’s black owned (love love love) and it’s vegan. Location was cool, and parking was not difficult to find. It was pretty spacious inside. The ambiance and music was pretty chill and the workers were very nice. There were two areas to dine in and also a bar area in the larger dining room. The food was very very good. I ordered a chickpea tuna, small chili, and a cold mint ginger green tea. I was surprised how good everything was, since I am not vegan and have my doubts about vegan food. The chili was sweeter than I’m use to but still delicious. The cornbread was good as well, but baby that chickpea tuna was all the way put together. It was definitely a 10/10. And I can’t forget the mint ginger green tea. It was so refreshing and delish. They also let us try the mango drink which was also heavily. I will definitely be returning and bringing my son, who ate the rest of my chickpea tuna when I got home and could not believe how good it was. ”
